Alis Wheeler
Practice Manager
Alis is the Argyle Pediatrics Practice Manager. She works very hard for our patients and staff daily. She first met and started working with Dr. Jones in 2006. She is proud to have been with Argyle Pediatrics from the start (with four employees -- presently a dozen employees) and looks forward to the future with this amazing group. She has enjoyed getting to know all of the new patients and catching up with all of the returning patients and their families. Some of our patients are now coming back with their own children and she loves being a part of their medical path.
She was born and raised in Denton County. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband, three daughters and two dogs.
Jessica Wilfong
Lead Nurse Practitioner/Medical Director
Jessica joined the Argyle Pediatrics Family in August, 2021. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas, and later went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following graduation she accepted a job in outpatient pediatrics, and has worked in the field since that time. Jessica has a passion for caring for children and their families. She loves making a positive impact in each child’s life, and strives to provide the kind of care she would want for her own children. Jessica and her husband, Derek, live in Argyle and have two daughters, London and Abby. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading a good book. Though she grew up in Southlake, Texas, Jessica is an Arkansas Razorback fan through and through, so don’t be surprised if you catch her wearing Razorback Red on game days! Go Hogs!
Kayla Williams
Nurse Team Lead/Clinical Coordinator
Kayla is our nurse team lead. She graduated from nursing school at NCTC in 2009 while she was living in Denton. Kayla has been working with Dr. Jones since graduating from nursing school. They have been through many adventures together and starting Argyle Pediatrics has been the best one yet! She really enjoys watching her patients grow up and being a part of their lives! She truly loves her coworkers like they are family and loves being able to make work as fun as it can be! She married her high school sweetheart in 2010. They live in Krum with their 2 kiddos who keep them very busy! Whether it be a dance recital, baseball tournament, or basketball game she would not trade her crazy chaos for the world! She also loves spending time with her friends and family, cruising, and Target! Her favorite part about her job is being able to comfort her patients and their families through the ups and downs of childhood! We truly are a family here at Argyle Pediatrics and hope our patients realize how much they mean to us!
Kelsie Santos
Billing Director/Referral Coordinator
Kelsie is our Billing Specialist at Argyle Pediatrics. She is a reborn Texas native with Virginia roots. She has four amazing kids who call her mom and keep her quite busy. When she’s not at one of their soccer or volleyball games, she enjoys getting lost in a good book or planning to take over the world with her best friend, who is also an important silent employee here at Argyle Pediatrics. She is a Starbucks addict, but also your go-to person with any questions you have about bills or insurance!
Kelly Ball
Front Desk
Kelly grew up in West Texas, up in the panhandle. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1996. After that she attended West Texas A&M University where she cheered for 2 years and studied education. After college she started coaching Trampoline and Tumbling, gymnastics, cheerleading and dance. She was the director and head coach for a trampoline and tumbling team for 13 years and then decided to become a stay-at-home mom. She and her husband, Aaron Ball, have been married for 18 years and currently live in Corinth, TX. She has one son who loves playing baseball. He is currently playing for his select team and is part of the Guyer High School baseball team. Her favorite hobby is watching her son play ball, but when she has a free Saturday, she enjoys watching college football (Go Buckeyes!), reading and spending time with her boys.
Kenzi Spurgin

Kenzi joined argyle pediatrics in November of 2021. Before this, she worked as a preschool teacher for five years and has enjoyed being able to continue to help care for children. Kenzi had attended NCTC where she received an associate of arts as well as the Salon Professional Academy of arts which she went to for esthetics. She is an avid crocheter, reader and is a proud cat-Mom to her beautifully crazy cat Bean. Kenzi is excited to be a part of the Argyle Peds family and cannot wait to see how they continue to grow and change.
Breanna Henderson
Nurse
Bre graduated from NCTC in 2020. She chose pediatrics because she loves to be involved with children and watching them grow and develop. She is continuing her education and studying Psychology at the University of North Texas. She was born and raised in Sanger, Texas. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She also loves spending time with her fur babies.
Paola Ortega
Nurse
Paola started her career as a Medical Assistant with an Internal Medicine practice in September of 2018. She grew up in Dallas and now resides in Denton, Tx with her husband and FOUR beautiful children. Her children were the driving factor for her pursuit in the medical field. She loves to work with kids and watch them grow. Her first job in pediatrics was with Health Services of North Texas and that is where she solidified her passion for working with new parents and children. Argyle Pediatrics was lucky to add her to the team in September of 2021 and when asked what her favorite part of the job is she just can’t decide! She loves the relationships she builds with each patient and feels like she is able to relate well with the new moms especially because she is a mom as well!
Emilee Campanozzi
Nurse
Emilee is one of our nurses. She was born and raised in Keller, TX. She graduated from Grayson College in July 2022. She has always known her passion was in nursing and quickly discovered a love for pediatrics. She has 11 nieces and nephews and has always worked with children even before nursing. One of her favorite things about pediatrics is that no matter what they are going through good or bad, they always have a smile on their face. Her favorite things to do include taking trips, spending time with her family and friends, and being a dog mom. She is excited to be a part of the Argyle Pediatrics family and build relationships with all the patients and their families!
Hunter Krastin
Nurse
Hunter was born and raised in Denton. He attended NCTC and is continuing his education. He worked in adult medicine previously but made the switch to pediatrics. He enjoys watching our patients grow and learn and has already formed a close bond with several patients. When he is not working, he can be found watching any sport but especially football. Go Longhorns!
Jessica Macabu
Nurse Practitioner
Jessica is a licensed pediatric nurse practitioner certified in primary and acute pediatric care. She started her career as a registered nurse in hematology/oncology at Children’s Health with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2004. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from UT Arlington in 2012 and continued working at Children’s Health with the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Team until 2022. Jessica is happy to be a part of the Argyle Pediatric family and loves caring for kids in the community she lives in. Jessica grew up in North Richland Hills and now lives in Argyle with her husband, twin boys and 2 dogs. She has 2 step-kids in Seattle. In her time outside of the office she enjoys raising her boys, traveling, hiking, eating great food and hanging with her friends and family.
Jenna Donlon
Nurse Practitioner
Jenna spent a majority of her childhood growing up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2009 and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 2011. After working as a registered nurse for nine years, Jenna completed her Master's Degree from Drexel University in 2020. She started working in pediatric primary care upon passing her boards and joined Argyle Pediatrics in May of 2023. Jenna lives in Flower Mound with her husband, two daughters and two dogs. In her free time, you can find her playing outside with her kids, doing early morning swim and Peloton workouts, baking cookies and cakes or planning her next beach vacation. She is excited to be a part of the Argyle Pediatrics team and is looking forward to meeting all of the AP families!
Sarah Whitworth

Sarah was born and raised in Denton Texas. She graduated from Denton high school in 2019. She then attended Texas Woman’s University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in General studies in 2023. While she was in school she worked in an after school program helping children learn and grow by providing educational activities. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
